Access to this National Provider system is included with all Commissioner system licenses. This allow the Commissioner's local Hospital Trusts and, in the case of Individual Funding Requests, local GP practices, to log requests for their patient's treatments. This intelligent system takes care of ensuring that the request is sent to the appropriate commissioner based on the patient's registered practice and the form chosen.
It includes all of the features required for adding and monitoring the status of requests on a patient by patient basis. It also includes basic reporting functionality.
Operating in over 130 Trusts in England, the system is used to send requests for treatments to the appropriate commissioner determined by the form used and the patient's GP practice. It is provided to all Trusts and GP practices free of charge or contract.
