The Scottish Medicines Consortium published advice on five medicines on 11 May 2026. Four were accepted:
- Enfortumab vedotin (Padcev®) + pembrolizumab — Accepted for first-line treatment of adults with advanced (unresectable or metastatic) urothelial/bladder cancer eligible for platinum-containing chemotherapy. Based on the EV-302 phase 3 trial, median overall survival was 33.8 months versus 15.9 months for chemotherapy.1
- Amivantamab (Rybrevant®) + lazertinib — Accepted for first-line treatment of adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R mutations.1
- Durvalumab (Imfinzi®) — Accepted for adults with limited-stage small cell lung cancer whose disease has not progressed following chemoradiotherapy. SMC noted this is the first treatment option available for this group offering survival benefits.1
- Budesonide 4 mg (Kinpeygo®) — Accepted for adults with primary IgA nephropathy with urine protein excretion ≥1.0 g/day, within an approved Scotland Patient Access Scheme, with supply expected via hospitals only.2
